The Bay City Planning Department is sending public notice. The notice is for consideration of the following matter:
Description of Project
APPLICATION #SU-2026-01 FOR A SPECIAL USE from Jasper Lind. The applicant is requesting to place goats – a special use for Agriculture/Urban Farm/Hobby Farm including animal husbandry – on the subject property, located at 6950 Baseline Road, Bay City, OR 97107, legally described as 1N10035CD01100, in the Low Intensity (LI) Zone. The subject property is used as residential property.
Review Criteria
The applicable criteria by which the special use application is evaluated by the Planning Department are located in the City Development Codes, Section 10.02.020 Definitions: Planning and Development; Section 10.06.025 Allowable Use Matrix; Section 10.06.060 Low Intensity Zone (LI) Zone Standards; Section 10.12.130 Notice. Appeals to the City Planning Commission are limited to only persons who have presented written testimony to the Bay City Planning Department within twenty (20) days of the mailing of this notice. Failure to raise an issue by letter, or the failure to provide sufficient specificity to allow the Planning Department an opportunity to respond to the issue precludes an appeal to the City Planning Commission on that issue.
